From the autumn/winter 2022 season, we have chosen sustainability as an increasingly defined direction through the use of an all-natural dye.

The willingness to use this dyeing system reinforces the propensity to confirm our identity through more consciuos and zero-impact processes.

Each season we choose some iconic garments - together with accessories - to which we apply 100% eco-sustainable dyes, obtained through the infusion of organic materials without the use of harmful chemical additives.

Everything is designed for a woman who knows how to choose her style responsibly, in a world that she loves discovering but that also wants to protect.

A 100% ORGANIC AND ECO-SUSTAINABLE DYEING

Wake is the first completely natural-dyeing patented system, because it uses only plants and vegetable waste, such as flowers, berries, peel and roots, left to dry and infused, without harmful chemical additives.
Using it is easy as preparing an herbal tea: in fact, it is a real revolution, a radical paradigm shift.

The realization of this procedure has been possible thanks to the synergy with a local company, leader in Italy and in the world in the design of machines for dyeing garments. A project where Pomandère has been pioneer, being the first fashion brand to use this type of dyeing on its garments.

AUTUMN/WINTER COLLECTION 2022

This innovation is welcomed by three iconic Pomandère styles: the silk habotai shirt, the jersey t-shirt and the cotton trousers. Novelty translated into two colors obtained through an infusion of walnut and elderberry seeds.

Walnut seeds give to the garment a light but warm colour, while elderberry seeds make it brighter.

SPRING/SUMMER COLLECTION 2023

A new capsule collection of iconic garments made of silk and cotton is tinged with two 100% eco-friendly colours: the olive green of pomegranate peel and the lavender colour of campeche wood.

AUTUMN/WINTER COLLECTION 2023

For this collection, two 100% earth-derived mineral pigments have been selected:

- soil, extracted from emanite minerals, namely volcanic rocks, and manganese oxides;
- clay, derived from limonite, a mineral found in clay and iron deposits, crushed to stone.

These two new natural pigments have been used for dyeing the oversized cotton and wool shirt, the cotton jersey sweatshirt with embroidered logo, and the ribbed cotton and viscose trousers.

SPRING/SUMMER COLLECTION 2024

Three mineral tones were selected to colour three variants of shirts and two trouser models in the collection:

- Soy, derived from stone-ground limonite;
- Copper, obtained from a mixture of iron oxides, ochres and inorganic pigments;
- Carbon, made from a mix of oxides of iron and inorganic pigments.
